Dr. Mamiko Kuriya, a native from Tokyo, Japan, moved to the United States in 2003 to pursue her lifelong dream of pediatric dentistry. Holding a master's in pediatric dentistry, she founded Ballard Pediatric Dentistry. As the practice grew, she was joined by Dr. Garcia and Dr. Susarla, two established and recognized providers whose accolades and community involvement were a perfect fit to help meet the demands of the Seattle market while delivering on our core values.
Our mission is to develop a lifetime goal of optimum oral health within our patients and their families by creating a dental home for them. We believe in always approaching children in a positive attitude and providing care for them with compassion and respect. Our dental home provides education, prevention of dental disease, and positive and safe dental experiences for children as they grow from infants through their teenage years.
